Actress Aahana Kumra says Prakash Jha made her uncomfortable while shooting intimate scene in Lipstick Under My Burkha
The MeToo movement spread like fire in the film industry and time and again actresses have spoken about their nightmares. Now actress Aahana Kumra who has done some amazing intimate scenes in Lipstick Under My Burkha has revealed about her experience of shooting intimate scenes and how producer Prakash Jha made them uncomfortable.
Lipstick Under My Burkha actress Aahana Kumra said that the filmmaker Prakash Jha made a comment on her while shooting an intimate scene that made her uncomfortable. Aahana revealed that she was shooting an intimate scene and producer of the film, Prakash Jha made a remark o her which really made her uncomfortable.
She revealed that he came on the sets when they were shooting for those scenes. Aahana revealed that she had to talk to the director Alankrita Shrivastava about the comment and stated that if he is not her director then why she should her that remark from him. She said that with all due respect that he was the producer. Alankrita, however, intervened and spoke to Prakash Jha about the same and also asked him to leave.
Meanwhile, Aahana appreciated Prakash Jha for understanding the space and leaving the sets. She said Prakash Jha understood that they were comfortable around him. The actress further added that the producer left politely and it was really nice of him to do that. Let us tell you that Aahana Kumra, Ratna Pathak Shah, Konkona Sensharma and Plabita Borthakur starrer Lipstick Under My Burkha turned out a surprise at the box office as well.
