Ajay Devgn, who is currently busy shooting for his dream project, Shivaay, may soon be seen in a film on the controversial Babri Masjid demolition.

The actor, who will be enacting the titular character in the film, has reportedly read the script and liked it. The film will revolve around the heroic attempts of a man who struggles with violence following the demolition.

Tentatively titled Kabir, it has been written by Vijayendra Prasad, who has earlier penned scripts for films including Bahubali: The Beginning and Bajrangi Bhaijaan

A leading daily quoted a source close to the makers, saying:

"It is not a pro-government film. Kabir takes a look at the turmoil that our country faced after the Babri Masjid was demolished and one man's heroic attempt to stand up to the violence that followed."

Interestingly, CBFC chief, Pahlaj Nihalani will produce it.
