"Jitni ijjat Airlift, Baby, se kamai, woh sab main iss film se gavane wala hu" (I'm about to lose the respect I earned with Baby and Airlift with Housefull 3). This is how Akshay Kumar introduced Housefull 3 at the trailer launch event held in Mumbai.

The entire cast and crew of Housefull 3, including Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon, Nargis Fakhri and Boman Irani seemed to be in a fun mood at the event.

The trailer promises to deliver three times the fun. Here are four statements by Akshay Kumar at the star-studded launch:

1) On the Housefull franchise

"I hope that Housefull 3 is as big a hit as the first two Housefulls. If it becomes a hit then 'Aapke Muh Main Diabetes.' We will be looking forward to the business of the film and will keep our fingers crossed."

2) On his return to comedy

"It feels brilliant to be doing comedy again after so long. I have been tensed about films like Airlift, Baby, Brothers, Holiday and many more. I was so relieved to return to the sets of Housefull 3 that I started doing everything I wanted to do while shooting for the film. Everybody was allowed to give two takes, one what the actors wanted and one what the directors wanted."

3) On his four-films-a-year funda

"There is no rocket science about shooting for four films a year. I don't think a film takes more than 60-70 days to be shot. I think I shot for Housefull for nearly 38 days. Mission Impossible was completed in 52 days so I don't know what actors do when they say it took us 300 days to shoot for XYZ film. Films are to be shot in maximum 60 to 70 days 'ab use jyada karva ke baccho ki jaan loge kya?'"

4) On Housefull 3

"It took me 38 days to shoot for the film; however Sajid Farhad took 40 days to cut the theatrical trailer as it is very difficult to come out with a trailer for such kind of films. It is difficult to get it right in two-and-a-half-minute trailer."

Directed by Sajid Farhad, Housefull 3 is set to hit the big screen on 3 June.
