83: This is the reason why Arjun Kapoor replaced by Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan's film
It is known that Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame director Kabir Khan is making a film on 1983 world cup win called 83. Padmaavat actor Ranveer Singh is playing the leading role in this film but he was never the first choice of this film. Actually, the leading role was first offered to Arjun Kapoor but things got changed in the equation of makers and the film went to Ranveer Singh.
Actually, Arjun Kapoor got the offer to play the role of Kapil Dev in 83, and the film was mainly centred to narrate the story of victory in 1983 cricket world cup. This film will be based on the first big victory of Indian cricket at the world stage. Indian team won the 1983 cricket world by defeating West Indies. Obviously, the excitement of this film is now high.
However, finally, the reason has come out that why Arjun Kapoor was replaced with Ranveer Singh in 83. Actually, earlier Arjun Kapoor did Half Girlfriend and Mubarakan, and in both the films Arjun put on weight but for 83 he had to lose the weight in few days that was too difficult for the actor. That time producer of the film Vishnu Vardhan Induri and director was Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.

But later their rift changed all equation and preparation for the film, and director Kabir Khan made entry into the project. As soon Kabir Khan came, Ranveer Singh came into the picture and got finalized to play the leading role of Kapil Dev.
