The biggest and most expensive film of India ever, 2.0 is releasing this week and it stars two superstars of the two film industry Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the leading roles. The film is a sequel to 2010 released Sci-Fi film Robot so the expectations are much high from this film. The film directed by Shankar has made in the budget of 500 crores and this has made a solid hype for the film.
The production house of the film, LYCA have already sold the distribution rights of all the version and that too for a record price. Now the distributors have come out with the screen counts for the film and it has broken the record set by previous blockbuster film Baahubali 2.
According to a report, the film will be releasing more than 6600 to 6800 screens (including 17 IMAX theatres) in India only. So that's why it is being told as the widest release of all the time defeating the previous record set of Baahubali - The Conclusion that released on 6500 screens.
The screens will be followed :
North Belt: 4000 – 4100 Screens
Andhra Pradesh/Telangana: 1200 – 1250 screens

The movie has completed its censor formalities recently with U/A certificate with an approved run time of 2 hours 28 minutes. The first half of the film is of 69 minutes and the second half is 79 minutes runtime.
Expectations are that the film will easily cross the opening day collection record of Baahubali 2 by earning more than 100 crores including Hindi version around 40 crores. However, the tough thing is that Baahubali 2 collected more than 125 crores in its opening day only. Well, the film is releasing on 29th November 2018 and then the race of box office will start.
