UP: Woman elopes with lover because husband didn’t allow to eat her favorite dish
In a bizarre incident reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur where a husband and wife got separated because of food. Yes, you read right! A woman ran away from her house after her husband allegedly denied to buy an egg for her.
According to the police, the woman hails from Campiergan, had earlier eloped with her lover four months ago and after she returned, she told the police that her husband did not give her eggs to eat and that made her upset.
Reportedly, the woman fought with her husband on Saturday for eggs and, once again, ran away from her home. Since her paramour was also not at his house, it is believed that the two might have eloped together.
However, her husband is a daily wage laborer and he cannot afford to buy eggs every day for the family. He also alleged that the beloved of her wife took advantage of her weakness for eggs and started bringing them daily.
"She was fond of eggs and her paramour regularly brought eggs for her," he added.
