Scary! Snake found inside flight; know what happens next

Snake found inside flight

A horrific incident was experienced by passengers who were on board a Mumbai-bound IndiGo flight at a Kolkata airport after a snake was spotted inside the flight. According to a leading news portal, the snake was spotted before the flight take off. Some reports also suggested that passengers were yet to board the aircraft.

As per the Zee news report, the place was just landed at the Kolkata airport from Raipur and was parked at a secluded bay area when the incident came to the fore.

The snake was spotted around a baggage belt inside the aircraft and it was first found by a baggage handler. When the staff was alerted about the presence of a snake in flight, the ground staff immediately cleared the area and informed the airport authorities about it.

 

Following the incident, the forest department officials were also informed about it and they rescued the snake.

According to reports, an official said that the massive reptile was a non-poisonous rat snake. Airport authorities thought that the snake entered the flight when the baggage was being offloaded from the flight upon the arrival from Raipur.

The incident was captured by many passengers and the video of the incident has been shared on social media platforms.

“Perhaps the snake wanted an IndiGo flight as a belated 15th birthday offer yesterday. Thankfully taken away by the Kolkata forest department. But just look at the speed,” wrote a user in a tweet on August 6.
