Scary! Family discovers 18 snakes living under bed; know what happens next

In the picture, the snakes can be seen on her bedroom floor and revealed she was freaked out after seeing them.

The family further told that they discover the snakes after Wilcher found something fuzzy on her bedroom floor and tried to pick it up.

While speaking to WJBF News Channel 6, the woman told, “Before going to bed, I spotted what I thought was a piece of fuzz on the floor, went to reach for it and it moved,” adding,

"And a second later, another moved and I went to my husband, ‘we have snakes!'”

She also shared another post on FB and revealed that there were 18 snakes under her bed- 17 babies and one momma.

Explaining the situation, Wilcher wrote, “Ok we have turned the bedroom upside down… found 17 babies and the momma. Up the street they have cleared some land that has been grown up for some time now … therefore we were the home spot for her litter!... Just glad I saw that little tiny piece of what I thought was fuzz and went to pick it up!”

To rescue the snakes, Wilcher and her husband used a grabber tool and placed each snake in a linen bag.

“He brought them out there to the creek area and released them there,” Wilcher was quoted as saying.

As soon as the incident came to the fore on social media, netizens were left horrified and also applauded the couple for showing courage. While many users wondered that how the family was not aware of the snakes’ presence in their home.

One of the users wrote, “Oh my goodness!! I would be petrified. I probably would have either left that house for a long while or just sold it."

"Wow! You have to be very brave! I would not have said a word and MOVED!" another commented.
