Man demands commission from his wife, find out why?

An unusual complaint has left the Uttar Pradesh police utterly baffled. A man has demanded a commission from his estranged wife, who he claims, has earned Rs 45 lakh as a prostitute. Following the complaint, Deputy Inspector General of Bareilly range has asked for an inquiry.

She is a millionaire, claims husband

• The complainant runs a medical shop and has alleged that his wife has returned to him after living separately for over five years. He alleges that now she is a "millionaire".
• He has also urged that he is entitled to a part of her earnings, as he had taken care of her daily expenses before she became "rich".

Police shocked

• The Times of India has reported that DIG RKS Rathore as well as other police officers were shocked that a man can level such charges against his wife.
• The couple were married for about 10 years and after five years, the wife reportedly left him and had started living with another man.
• The husband is now levelling charges of prostitution against her as he believes that she earned the Rs 45 lakh only because she was involved in flesh trade.
