Swine flu hits Madhya Pradesh, 11 dead

As the national capital faces a Dengue outbreak, now Swine Flue has rocked Madhya Pradesh with 11 deaths so far.

So far 180 suspected swine flu patients have been tested, of which 34 were tested positive, of which 11 people died, 12 people are undergoing treatment and 11 people recovered after getting infected with the H1N1 virus.

Of the 11 dead 10 were from Madhya Pradesh and one was from Maharashtra.

In order to tackle with swine flu outbreak, test facilities have been started at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bhopal. Earlier, all the samples used to be sent to the Regional Medical Research Centre for Tribal (RMRCT) of Jabalpur.

Also a team of experts has been entrusted with the task of checking the line of treatment in various private and government hospitals.
