Whom does the drawer belong to?
- The drawer is allegedly of a former Vyapam computer programmer C K Mishra who is currently lodged in Central Jail for his alleged role in Vyapam anomalies.
Staffers were busy in dusting and repairing office furniture, a routine chore, when an employee found currency notes inside a drawer that was not being used for some time. They immediately alerted MP Nagar Police.
- The currency notes, in the denomination of 1000 and 500 were counted by the police and were found to be around Rs 11.90 lakh.

- According to Patrika sources the drawer and the desk belonged to ex-Vyapam employee CK Mishra. The drawer was also found containing some documents and a cheque addressed in favour of another Vyapam accused Nitin Mohindra, who is also lodged in Central Jail now.
- The recovery of cash has put the STF probe under the scanner as the investigating officials had visited the office several times for evidence but, missed the cash stashed in a drawer.
