India is celebrating it's 71st Independence Day today. There is a spirit of freedom and patriotism that is spread all over the country today. Each and every individual is celebrating the day in their own manner. On one hand where it is just another holiday from work, there are others who are celebrating this day with great pomp and show either by flying kites or by celebrating.

To celebrate India's 71st Independence Day, the search engine giant Google too displayed their doodle in an artistic manner. The doodle that is displayed on the Google homepage shows the design of the Indian Parliament, the wheel of the Ashok Chakra and India's national bird peacock, all submerged in shades of our national flag ie. saffron, green, white and blue.

The word GOOGLE, can be seen across the design of the Parliament house and it seems to be made out of ribbons of the colors of the Indian flag. Check out how the creative doodle was made out.
